Fall Trend: Navy Eyeliner

Declaring Indigo Fall 2009 Collection from Lancome

Fall brings us dramatic makeup, unlike summer’s natural and casual looks.  Adding darker, sultry colors to your daily routine will keep you on trend and looking feminine and elegant!   Purchasing  just a few key products will allow you to create Fall and Winter looks that will last you until spring!

One key product you should invest in is a navy blue gel liner.  Gel liner has the staying power of liquid but easier to apply! (I apply mine with the NEW Sephora Brand Double-Ended Wing Brush.)  An added bonus: it is waterproof and smudgeproof!

I am loving the new Ink Artliner Longwear Calligraphy Gel Liner from Lancôme‘s Fall Collection, Declaring Indigo.  Don’t be intimidated, you don’t have to go as dramatic as the model above to get a stunning daytime look or sensuous date night face (though I do think her makeup look would be so right for a fun night out with your man!)

Lancôme National Makeup Artist, Tarek Abbas, tells us:

“For a modern lined eye, this waterproof and smudgeproof liner is the perfect option for lining the inside of your eyes along the tear line. For more drama, smoke out the liner along the liner along the lash line with an eyeshadow in a similar tone.”

Wearing Navy Blue liner also helps the white of your eyes look more white so you can look more awake!

Lancôme suggests the following products to complete the look shown above:

That system of products looks exquisite. I have dark brown eyes and I love how navy eyeliner makes my the whites of my eyes look brighter and makes the brown pop. Great post.
