I am excited to introduce Sarah Cleghorn to you. She is an energy coach and consultant who lives in Australia. Isn’t the world wide web a beautiful thing? Sharing, growing and meeting interesting women is so easy! I am inspired by Sarah and her work. I’ve dabbled in energy work here and there but recently I’ve begun a journey of consciously living in a higher vibration. In our busy world of family, work and all that life brings us, it isn’t always easy but I think with support and know-how, lives change with energy work! Sarah is a great resource for helping “reduce the stress that denies you success.”
In this interview, Sarah shares a bit more about what she does and gives us her style and beauty secrets! (love that she is a fan of bold color!) Read along and don’t miss her offer at the end to enter to win a Mini-Energy Makeover (details at the bottom)!
Tapping Into Your Genius
Brief Description of Your Business:
I’m an energy coach and consultant. I teach stress management and peak performance techniques that are simple, effective and cutting-edge. These techniques clear out the anxiety and limiting beliefs that prevent gorgeous modern women from smiling more widely, contributing more effectively and loving more deeply.
What was your inspiration to start your business?
I dream of living in a world where everyone easily shares and is appreciated for their unique genius, however too many people shy away from sharing their gifts and stepping up because of stress, anxiety and limiting beliefs. I will never settle for that! Part of my genius is energy coaching but it was a hobby for a long time. I was a corporate consultant and one day I received positive feedback from my manager and instead of being happy, I burst into tears. I knew I was living a lie, that I had so much more to give and that I couldn’t continue to live like that anymore. That was the day I registered by business name and bought a URL. I used energy coaching and EFT to move through the fears and anxieties that kept me playing small and now I coach others to do the same.
What is your trick to staying laser focused in your business?
Useful metrics. I measure the important stats on a weekly basis and if one area isn’t performing well, I know what my focus needs to be for the following week.
Any tips for balancing a business and your personal life?
Being present and having very clear boundaries on my time. I don’t let one part of my life leak over into another area. There are times I have to close my office door and not speak to my gorgeous partner, but he knows that when I am with him, he is my sole focus.
What is your favorite beauty product to bring along when you travel?
I love to travel but I never get on an aeroplane without a small tub of creamy, rich moisturizer that I can slather on my face and hands during the flight. One of my current favourites is Shea Body Butter from The Body Shop.
Tell us about the outfit that makes you feel confident and beautiful.
I love to wear bright colours because they connect me to my courage and confidence. One of my favourites at the moment is a sleeveless emerald-green satin top with a cowl neck. It brings out the green in my eyes and complements my fair skin (which is sometimes difficult!).
What is your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion?
Great prices and same-day delivery (which isn’t the norm in Australia yet)
What motivates you to look your best?
The outer-world is a reflection of the inner-world. I want to share who I am on the inside with others. And I really hope the world sees someone who is healthy, cheeky, feminine, beautiful and authentic!
As an entrepreneur, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?
I have a strange habit of allowing mud masks to dry whilst I make business calls. I know it’s time for a shower when the mask has hardened and it’s getting a bit difficult to speak!
Name one beauty product you can’t live without:
Trilogy Rosehip Oil. Best moisturizer ever.
Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.
Definitely heels! This week my favourites are a pair of hot pink kitten-heel peep-toes. Perfect for summer with a pair of skinny-leg jeans!
Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Do you have a favorite brand/color?
Gloss. It’s easier to apply and I love the shine.
Confession Time! What is your biggest fashion and/or beauty concern at the moment?
My biggest beauty concern – my ugly feet! Lots of hard dry skin and chipped nailpolish makes it embarrassing when I take my shoes off for a yoga class but I never seem to find the time to give myself a pedicure.
How can my readers get to know you and your business better?
Each week, I give away three free ‘Mini Energy Makeovers’. If there’s an area of your life that you’re struggling with and nothing you try seems to work, come over to www.tappingintoyourgenius.com/minimakeover to apply for a 30 minute Skype session where we clear out energetic blocks that are holding you back.
Any additional comments on beauty and style you’d like to share:
Ask your grandma for beauty advice – beauty is often as simple as staying out of the sun, drinking lots of water and creating more kindness in the world.
Thanks for sharing with us Sarah!
