I love that the eternity scarf is so popular this fall! It’s a great twist on scarves and frankly, I’m getting a little tired of wearing my scarf in a European Loop. It’s time for some options!
Eternity scarves are an affordable way to update your wardrobe (and keep you warm!) and are now popping up in every mall store that sells clothing. A few months ago, I showed you some great online places to shop for the eternity scarf but since the trend is really picking up pace as the weather cools, I wanted to share a few more then direct you to wear you can purchase a pattern to crochet your own.

I am really loving the chunkier knit of most of these styles! I think I may need to suggest Santa bring me one- it would be perfect for sitting at my computer during the cold late nights ahead!
For those of you who are crafty, I want to just say, it is very difficult to find a pattern for you to follow! The one I did find is rather lightweight and since I don’t know a thing about crochet, I don’t dare recommend just using a heavier yarn…but couldn’t you?! I also found a tutorial on ehow.com called How to Knit a Tube Scarf. There are no pictures or a pattern but if you know how to knit, I guess it will suffice!
In the meantime, I’ll keep hunting for a thick knit pattern as that is what I would want to make if I had the know-how! Readers, if you can recommend a place to shop for eternity scarf patterns or know of a website that has a tutorial, please do share!
