What keeps me young is taking time for myself, trying to look at things from a positive light (trying to eliminate complaining, gossiping) being outdoors (definitely need a trip to the ocean once or twice a year), laying on the grass playing with my children, when my baby falls asleep in my arms, drinking lots of water, trying to make a point to smile and laugh and be grateful for all of the good things in my world!

At 73 I still get “you don’t look your age” remarks and I attribute this a great deal to my Aunt Mill’s advice when I was 13, don’t ever, ever put soap on your face and moisturize at least twice a day. Have always followed that advice. At 91 when she died she looked about 65. Hope I do as well and would love to try your products as they sound super.

Being young is a state of mind! I grew up in a retirement town and saw people who were 60 but looked and acted 85, and vice versa. It was an object lesson that if you think of yourself as old, well then, sure enough you are. But if you think like a young person, it definitely helps you stay that way. My body may not be the same as it was when I was 20, but inside I still feel that way!

September 23rd, 2008 at 3:49 pm
Curiosity and a burning desire to see what’s around the next bend.
September 23rd, 2008 at 3:50 pm
What keeps me young is constantly striving to be the best that I can be and always seeking new and unique ways to reinvent myself. I am a mother of 3, a wife, and at 29 years of age I feel fabulous! I take the time to always put my best foot forward in all that I do, and I love to see how each and every day I can evolve and change my look so I keep those around me guessing. If I settled for the “same old, same old” everday, I would not feel young and confident about myself. But knowing that each and every day I wake up I am going to do something with myself that is different from the day before, and unique to what I have already done, makes me feel alive and revived!
