Fall is such a dry time of year! Keep your skin moisturized with these proven moisturizing drugstore brand products.
- Caress Daily Silk Silkening Body Wash-Triple moisturizers leave your skin silky smooth. Use in the shower to start a layer of moisture protection on your skin. Request a $1 off coupon for your next purchase.
- Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion With Cooling Menthol Natural Colloidal Oatmeal- I have found this one to be the most effective lotion for dry, itch skin. My legs were terribly itching this summer from the chlorine in the pool. There is a menthol scent so I only use it on my body, not my hands. It is rich, absorbs quickly and works!
- Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream- proven effective winter after winter in my home! This hand cream is thick, rich and exactly what my hands need during the low-humidity months!
- Suave Cocoa Butter with Shea- cocoa, shea butter and inexpensive…this is my everyday lotion. It’s rich and smells so yummy!
- Vaseline Petroleum Jelly- An overall good product that has been around for-ever! It’s a moisture relief classic! You can use this on your feet at night (just be sure to put socks on after applying), on your cuticles to keep them soft, on your lips (on your kid’s chapped mouth- you know, the “licking ring-around-the-mouth”), elbows and any place else that is feeling the pain of chapped skin! Be sure to watch the Daily Beauty Tips at the bottom of the site for more great Vaseline uses!
- H2O- good old fashion water keeps you hydrated from the inside. It’s easy to drink enough when it’s hot but in the colder month, it’s easy to forget to drink enough. Stay on top of your 8+ glasses a day to help your skin stay it’s hydrated best!
Take care of your skin, pamper it, moisturize it and you’ll make it through the dry months ahead with minimal irritation…but you have to be diligent!
