Learn your Type and live true to who you are!
My husband is very much a Type 2, based on Carol Tuttle’s Energy Profiling system. He brings a calm to the household, he thinks things through and he is very thoughtful of others, especially with the kids and I. Without his “chill” behavior, the rest of us would be in chaos!
I like his Type 2 energy for those reason but I’ve picked up many of the traits of a Type 2 over our 15 years of marriage. He has never asked me to change who I am but I’ve realized that many of the things I get agitated with in myself are because I am not living true to my own Type 3 energy but rather trying to live as his very different, Type 2 energy. Now that I am aware of this information and what I was doing, I am working to live in my own energy level and be OK with him living in his. Living my truth is helping my marriage!
