I love trying the unusual. Generally, the “unusual” is not something that I will use or wear everyday. But, having something out of the ordinary is always just a bit more fun, don’t you think? Without a doubt, that includes makeup.
I was provided a shocking pink Pressed Pigments Powder from Motives by Loren Ridinger and it was an awesome fun, totally different color then I would normally purchase. It even had a cool name: GLOW
Now, when I say shocking pink…I mean “Hello! Can you see me in China? – PINK!!”
If you have never visited the Motives by Loren Ridinger site then you need to go…beside being a beautiful lady she has amazing makeup. You can find the classic colors at her site as well as the wild, eclectic looks that just add a little spice to your life.
When I first received the Pressed Pigment my thought was “Oh my! What do I do with you”? I went to the website and learned some great information on the Motives Pressed Pigment Powders.

You can apply directly to the skin or mix it with other type of textures. While the Glow is not a color you’d probably wear to a church function (although I did, lol) it is definitely a fun, uplifting, spunky color.
I applied a little dab to the other edge of my eyelid along with black mascara and black eyeliner for a very dynamic effect. It lasted the entire day, was easy to remove at the end of the night and without a doubt, made my dark brown eyes POP!

this is a great post! the blush reminds me of bobbi brown pale pink (ironic shade name!) and smashbox radiance. both are shocking pinks that when applied correctly look totes gorgeous. this version is much more wallet-friendly, though!
