How to Create The Classic Hollywood Glamour (Faux) Bob

Do you have medium to long hair but want a classic bob…just for the night? Then try this hairstyling trick to get the Classic Hollywood Glamour Bob like Nicole Kidman wears above.
What you’ll need:
Spray gel
Hairspray
Velcro or Hot Rollers
Hair pins
The key to this look is to create movement, not body.
- To set hair, use Set Me Up Spray Gel for finer hair and Tousle Me Softly Hairspray for thicker hair as a foundation.
- Curl hair using Velcro or hot rollers. Concentrate large rollers in the front of the hair for more smoothness and small rollers at the back of the head, and an underneath layers of hair for more curl.
- Section the back layers of hair into two to three sections and backcomb each section to keep the curl in place.
- Pin each section underneath itself, working from the back of the head to the front.
- Drop the top sections from the rollers. Depending on the length of the hair, leave the front pieces down for an asymmetrical look or loosely pin them back to integrate the wave into the pinned sections.
For a flapper, old Hollywood statement, create a deep side part and tuck one side of the hair back with a pin.
Set the style in place with light hold hairspray, like Tousle Me Softly Hairspray
