Take Control of Thinning Hair

Take Control of Hair Loss | amominredhighheels.com

Hair loss is an epidemic that faces men and women of all ages, and whether it’s caused by stress, poor nutrition, hormones (such as pregnancy or having just given birth), genetics, or other factors such as the environment, it can be mortifying for those who are affected!  Unfortunately, hair loss is not just affecting the elderly.  People can begin to see hair thinning at any age!  Fortunately you can fight back with innovative products, just like you fight off wrinkles!

I recently sampled NIOXIN® Scalp and Hair Care Systems. Based on a series of questions, it was determined that I need System 7, for medium to course, chemically enhanced hair that is normal to thin looking. You should know that I do not have thinning hair but do have plenty of hair that falls out with styling. This is normal but if I can enhance the health of my scalp and hair, I’m all for trying a new product! (you can find your ideal system here: FIND YOUR IDEAL NIOXIN SYSTEM)

Let me first say that I am a conditioner snob. Truly, I am. When I saw that the shampoo (NIOXIN Cleanser) was twice as big as the conditioner, I laughed…out loud!  There was no way that conditioner (aka NIOXIN Scalp Therapy) was going to be a sufficient amount to work in my hair!  I was wrong.  The conditioner is great!  I really only used a quarter size amount and was amazed how easy it was to comb through my hair, even after a day of wearing a scarf and developing tangles at the nape of my neck.  I am completely sold on the conditioner.

But wait…there is more hair goodness!  After I shampoo and condition, I add the third product from the line, Scalp Treatment: A daily leave-in scalp treatment that delivers essential botanicals, nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins onto the scalp skin and hair to help safeguard against environmental residue and DHT buildup on the scalp. The label warns that it may cause redness after application but I did not have any problems with that.

After my first use of the NIOXIN Scalp and Hair Care System, I was happy to see so much volume had returned to my hair! I LOVE VOLUME! I’m big of volume because I feel it suits my face better. Yep, I lived the 80’s and have grown up teasing my roots but even with the evolution of my hair to sleek and straight, I still love the volume. I am a believer that NIOXIN delivers what they promise:

Transactive Delivery System™ delivers essential nutrients onto the scalp which improves the appearance of thinning hair and creates an environment for fuller, healthier-looking hair.

NIOXIN believes that “healthy-looking hair begins with the scalp”.  If your hair is leaving you feeling frumpy, you may need to consider helping your scalp get healthy!

I do have thinning hair. I started noticing it when I had my last child at 41. After the birth, I realized my hair was falling out more so and I asked my doctor about it. She said my hormones were wacky and it should stop as soon as they straightened out. And it did. But now I’m 52 and it’s started thinning again. I’m sure it’s hormonal. I welcome any help.

  22. Regenepure DR is by far the best hair loss shampoo. The key ingredient that has proven hair growth is Ketoconazole. Also, all of their ingredients are listed on their web site with the benefits of each at Regenepure.com. I see less hair in the drain and my hair feels thicker and fuller. Regenepure NT, which is their nourishing treatment I use instead of conditioner as it softens my hair but keeps it full. Really amazing products. Great complements for any hair growth regimen. There are tons of reviews on the Internet. See for yourself!!
