Confessions of a Beauty Addict

I just turned the last page in Confessions of a Beauty Addict by fellow beauty blogger and author, Nadine Haobsh. How crazy is it that I took a beauty tour of Paris last October with this amazing author? It makes the book that much more exciting for me to read!

If you loved Confessions of a Shopaholic, you are sure to love this easy-to-read novel by Nadine. It takes you on a journey of a year-in-a-life of Beauty Editor Bella Hunter who got fired for saying too much about the industry to the press. Bella is soon hired by another magazine that is so beneath her, or so she thinks. She has to put up with an editor, publisher and the magazine readers that are not too thrilled with her efforts. Can life get any worse?

The story is one of self-discovery, remaining true to yourself (once you find your true self…), hard work and believing in the hope that life will work out for the best. There are lots of fun little twists in the story, a romance that turns hot then cold then hot again, and triumph for beauty’s golden girl!

  2. Sounds like a great book. I love getting books signed. Unfortunately, I am bit far from Santa Monica and a lot farther from New York. Oh Well!
