I have a brand new friend. Well, I have two brand new friends. lebec of lebec cosmetics and her Concealer/Highlighter pencil! I love, love, love this product.
I have never owned a concealer that I’ve liked. I know I need one but all those I’ve tried have been waxy, hard to spread, or just the wrong color. What I’ve been using is Photo Op Under Eye Brightener by Smashbox. It’s a product that brightens the undereye darkness but it does not provide coverage, which is what I need.
When lebec used the jumbo pencil on me at my consultation, I was truly astonished at how well it blended and matched my coloring. She instructed me to use it on the inner corners of my eye area, above and below my lash lines. Doing so will help even out the skin tone and make my eyes appear to stand out more as well as cover the evidence of far too many late nights.
On the other end of the pencil is a highlighter. This product adds just the right amount of illumination to my face which is a very popular look right now thanks to J.Lo. This was applied to the brow bone just below the highest peak of my brow. lebec also applied it below my eyes at the outer edges…you know the “fine line gallery”? Yeah, I wasn’t sure I wanted that attention drawn to the area! What it did instead of draw attention to the lines was soften the appearance of the lines. It’s all about highlighting and contouring, remember? So by highlighting this area the light reflects the product and diverts attention from the fine lines. Nice.
I’ll be keeping this pencil in my bag from here on out. I’ve used it every day this week. It’s a tired- eye saver! Perfect for Moms!
