I’m feeling a little blue today. See, my Clarins Multi-Active Jour Vitalite Jeunesse (day cream) is gone. It’s not so much that the cream itself is gone, I can always buy more. It’s just that the cute little sample size cream came from the Clarins Institut Paris where I was given a sensational facial by ‘the sovereign power of hands” (a really well trained beauty therapist). At completion of my facial, I was given a personalized Beauty Prescription which included samples of the products. The Multi-Active Day Cream for Dry Skin was one of them. Now the cream is gone and it feels that Paris was ages ago.
Beauty products are what help us look gorgeous on the outside. Memories like Paris and the wonderful treatment we received at the Clarins Institut Paris are what keep us feeling gorgeous on the inside. I can’t say enough about Rose-Marie and Cassandra, our hosts for one beautiful day in Paris. They treated us like ROYALTY and I am so flattered by their attention and pampering!
The Clarins Institut smells divine, is open and relaxing. You feeling nothing but welcomed and if you’re not relaxed just give it time, you will be!! The Clarins Spas are designed to focus on personal balance, relaxation and serenity and I can honestly say, they meet the standards they set for themselves. You’ll indulge each and every sense with a trip to a Clarins Spa!
Our day was spent receiving facials that made more than one of us snore…(oh, how embarrassing to wake ourselves with a snore in such a pristine place…but that’s how good it was!), followed by a very funny overview of Clarins products (more on this in the future). Erika and I were fortunate enough to get some alone time with Rosa-Marie, an absolute brilliant and entertaining lady whom has been with the company since she was 18. She has trained the Clarins techniques and product education all over the world. She is pure delight!
After the Institut, Cassandra arranged a wonderful and leisurely lunch at Durand Dupont Drugstore ( I don’t know why the French name some of their best restaurants ‘drugstores’…anyone?). While I have a gorgeous picture taken at lunch with Cassandra, Rose-Marie and the Total Beauty group, some of the bloggers have asked to remain faceless on the net, so with respect to them, I will not share. I will say that I had a supreme lunch, complete with champagne, wine and several dessert samples. I was beyond full! Oh, and Cassandra shared with us the secret to a Parisian woman’s beauty. I’ll share with you soon!
Upon leaving the restaurant, we headed for the lovely Clarins Boutique Rive Gauche, at 10 Rue de Babylone in Paris. It is the first French (and European) Boutique. Rose-Marie gave several of us a quick makeup application and it was time to say good-bye.
Worry not if you don’t plan to travel to Paris anytime soon as there are Clarins Spas all over the world! From Mauritius to Japan, to Morocco to the United States you can travel the world with Clarins and discover the special treatment you receive for yourself! Simple check the Spa locator for specific destinations. Sounds like a great Adventure in Beauty to me, travel the world to visit Clarins Spas….
I want to extend my MANY thanks to Rose-Marie, Cassandra and the staff of Clarins Institut Paris, for the World Class Treatment they extended to this Mom in Red High Heels! XOXO!
This is what a treatment ‘cabin’ looks like.

Thats me with Cassandra Moonen, the awesome Public Relations Manager at Clarins Paris who set this FABulous day up for us! I had an instant liking for Cassandra and I found out why later…she’s DUTCH! My family comes from Holland (3 generations before me…). Of course, I loved Cassandra because she was an absolute doll but being Dutch just made me adore her that much more
We could be related, right?!
This is Rose-Marie Castano and I. She has a sweet spirit, a wonderful attitude and I aspire to be like her. Her disposition is beautiful beyond words. This picture is taken after she touched up my makeup (wait until I tell you about the mascara…!). That’s Cailin in the background testing products.

While not shown in any photos, Christine, Carla and Nadine enjoyed their pampering as well!

Hi!
Your article has fueled my overwhelming excitement surrounding my upcoming trip to Paris. It is my mom’s 60th birthday, and I am taking her there for her very first time!!! The two of us are passionate about maintaining healthy, glowing skin and I thought a trip to the institute would be a perfect surprise!
I am curious how you go about making a reservation??? Can any of the above mentioned women be requested? Any help would be greatly appreciated! It looks like you guys had a fabulous day:-) I am simply bursting to go!!!
Thanks!
Nicole
Nicole, Rose-Marie Castano and Cassandra Moonen are behind the scene administrators (Rose-Marie is a VP and Cassandra is PR) and won’t be available for appointments but if you do go, you should ask if they are in because they are both FABULOUS and would absolutely take the time to say HI if they are available!

I hope you and your mom have a TON of fun! I’m so excited for you both!
Hi!
My daughter and I were LUCKY enough to WIN a trip to Paris, France with Clarins Canada. My 19yr old daughter, Andrea and I were soooo excited that we could attend at ur Spa but have now been informed there are NO OPENINGS for the weekend we will be down there (April 28-May2). We are both so very disappointed as this was the “highlight of our trip” AND the only planned itinerary. Now we’re on our own as to what to do while in Paris. Do u think there will be any cancellations possibly? There is no substitute for this “spa day” as I’ve been told by Lydie Brissonette in Montreal but she will check CLOSER TO WHEN WE LEAVE if theres a cancellation. Or could a regular client be told of our circumstances that we’re coming all the way from Canada and need an appt that weekend and maybe they would be kind enough to go the next weekend? Just a thought. Andrea and I have NEVER been to Paris before so I’m hoping maybe u can help us out? Please let me know asap!! Thanks very much.
Congrats on your prize Kathy! What an exciting time for you and your daughter!! Unfortunately, A Mom in Red High Heels is not affiliated with Clarins so we can’t help you with your appointment. I wish you well and hope it works out for you!
