Christian Louboutin Platform Pumps for $49

Recessionistas Love iOffer for Designer Style at Amazing Prices

Who wants to pay $795 for heels, especially in this economy? Not I, but I would pay $49 on iOffer.com for the same shoe! Check it out:

Pretty nice, right? It’s a little intimidating buying something when you can’t put your hands on it but for $49 if it really isn’t the real deal, I know I’d be happy anyway.

iOffer is the an eBay type site but better…You don’t have to wait days for an auction to end. You are not bidding against other buyers who drive the price up. You actually pit sellers against each other to five you the lowest priced deal! Fashionistas love iOffer as it features the latest designer styles, as well as Canal Street Couture (which is probably what these pumps are!). iOffer is a handbag heaven and up-to-the-moment designer brand dream! This is retail therapy you can actually afford!

I noticed that a lot of the sellers are not from North America, so I wonder about shipping time. Sometimes the English isn’t great in descriptions or comments, and some of the product titles include “Gucci” or other major brands (like a Dell Laptop with Gucci in the name?!) These details concerned me a little.

I mentioned by concerns to a friend who has used iOffer before. Her suggestion were great.  She has purchased several brand items from a variety of sellers and received them all with no problem.

She says:
“Don’t let the international sellers scare you. A lot of them are from China so their English isn’t perfect. The best thing you can do is buy from sellers who have positive feedback and good reviews from past sellers.

The reason they put Gucci on electronics is keyword spamming. (ioffer.com execs are aware of the problem and they try to cut down on that.) Try to be specific about what you want. Like type Gucci bag or Gucci Icon Bit, etc. You will still have some keyword spammers but it will more likely get you exactly what you are looking for.

iOffer has had its share of scammers, and kicks them off of the site. However, there is nothing to prevent them from opening up a new account. So don’t buy from “new” sellers; buy from sellers that have a history. You can read the conversations between buyers and sellers on their page.”

With that helpful information, I feel more confident.  From reading some of the conversations, it looks like most overseas sellers ship quickly.  I’ll still read the fine print carefully,  ask questions and make sure I like the seller (based on his/her comments back to me) before purchasing.  I might even use the Groups Offer, which is a way to negotiate with multiple sellers in order to get the lowest price.  Sounds kind of fun. I’ll let you know how my shopping experience goes!

Now, if only I would feel confident walking in those 4 7/10″ stiletto heels!

Okay, I’m laughing because the shoes may be $49 but the shipping is $69! LOL Of course that’s still a heck of a lot less than a pair at Nordstrom’s but it is kind of funny when shipping costs more than the item…and it’s a pair of shoes!

    3. Tammy says:

Yes….but I think you can totally negotiate. If you go in “unattached” and walk away from a product if you don’t have your needs met then I bet your needs will be met :) Some of the comments indicate that anyway…
Here are some for $32, shipping $57, so a little cheaper…

Like you said, still a great price and if I am paying for international shipping I can expect to pay a lot, especially if it arrives in a timely manner, right? But, yeah…$69 is a lot for shipping haha.

    4. Vivien says:

      wow, $69 shipping is alot

    5. Tammy says:

The shipping depends on the seller actually so not all items cost that much :) I think it was that seller that actually sold the shoes + shipping for $80 so they totally negotiate. Check the comments on their pages. :)
