Men’s Wearhouse is sponsoring their 3rd Annual National Suit Drive during the month of September. This is a wonderful opportunity to help change someone’s life for the better!
Who You Can Help: Disadvantaged job seekers because appearance at a job interview does count!
How You Can Help: Start by going through the closet and pulling items in your man’s wardrobe with minimal wear. Bring them to one of the 1000+ Men’s Wearhouse stores. They will be collecting the items and donating them to local non-profit organizations who can best distribute them to men in need.
What You Can Donate:Any gently used professional attire will be accepted. These clothing items include:
* Suits
* Sport coats
* Dress slacks
* Dress shirts
* Dress shoes
* Sportswear (linen shirts, sweaters, casual pants, vests)
* Outerwear (jackets, long coats, raincoats)
* Ties and other accessories
What You’ll Receive: The satisfaction of helping others, a 25% discount coupon good towards your next purchase at Men’s Wearhouse and a tax receipt.
“With nearly one out of 10 working-age men unemployed in this country, the economic downturn has disproportionately hurt the male workforce,” said George Zimmer, Men’s Wearhouse founder and CEO. “By collecting and donating professional clothing, Men’s Wearhouse aims to help men ‘suit up’ for job interviews and offset the ‘mancession.’”
A Mom in Red High Heels wishes this campaign much success! It’s a wonderful opportunity to give to the community…and we don’t mind seeing the teams of bare-chested men descending upon five cities throughout the country to walk the streets. Watch for them in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
