Busy Moms Can Have Great Skin Too!


Your daily habits dictate how beautiful your skin looks. Just like raising a child or building a business, you must put the work in every day. It’s the consistency that pays off!

While I know you are super busy, creating new healthy skin habits will quickly change the look of your skin.  I promise, you won’t miss the dull, dry, possibly acne-ridden skin!

7 Daily Habits you should embrace for glowing, healthy skin:

  1. Cleanse every night. Your skin needs to breath and repair overnight, which is why a night cleanse is the most important.   3.   4. Eat your antioxidants.  Blueberries, salmon, dark green leafy vegetables and green tea will aid in fighting free radicals which contribute to aging skin.
  5. Increase your heart rate.  Get your blood flowing, increase circulation and sweat out the toxins with some heart-thumping cardio!  15 minutes a day is  great place to start, try racing your kids around the neighborhood on your bike or jumping rope with them!
  6. Sleep in (or go to bed early).  Make sure you are getting at least 7 hours of sleep each night (I’d say 8 but you are a mom and we know that is not possible if your children still live at home!).  A big skin enemy is the stress hormone, Cortisol, which ages the skin and can cause acne. To keep cortisol levels healthy, get some sleep so you are better able to handle stress during the day.
  7. Drink water, and plenty of it!  Encourage your kids to get in this good habit too!

When you have a million things on your to-do list, you are quick to neglect yourself.  Make the commitment to make these 7 tasks a habit so you can better manage your life.  Not only will they help your skin look lovely, they will help increase your energy and feelings of confidence!
