Review: The Body Shop’s New Summer Makeup Palette

Do I look pretty? How can you tell, right? Trust me….I am using the new Body Shop Summer Makeup Palette and it has so many great colors that you are bound to look pretty because you just can’t mess up.

Look at all the wonderful things that the kit comes with:

• A Golden Pink Blush – perfect for any complexion. Wonderful for summer. The rose color is vibrant enough that you will only need to use a little or else you may risk the chance of looking a “Bit” too made up.

• FOUR eye shades…Yes you read it correctly. Four. One shimmer and three matte but they all look a little shimmery to me. They are great shadows that can easily translate from day to night. The colors were Slate, Shell Pink, Spearmint and Silver. Silver such a perfect color to brighten your eyes

• Two lip glosses. Golden Coral and Pale Pink..a very gentle pink…both with a little bit of sparkle and the heavenly scent of grapefruit. Long lasting and moisturizing. The lip gloss is the perfect size to pop into your purse or back pocket

• A petite black mascara, a blush brush and a eyeshadow brush complete the ensemble.

When you are wearing shimmer shadows or gloss make sure you do it sparingly unless it is for evening wear otherwise it will give you a very “fake” not “fresh” look.

You definitely do not need another item for your Spring to Summer makeup transition. These little yummies were all stored inside a cute black gift box..perfect for gift giving, travel and easy storage. No mess, no guess..it was all there ready and waiting for you. Almost like “Paint by Numbers” for make up!
