- This one’s for your kid’s school/PTA: A new back-to-school event is being sponsored by Cookie Magazine and the PTA. We’ve conceived of it as a national holiday (seriously worth celebrating) called School Year’s Eve. It’s a chance for families and kids to start the back-to-school season right, with a kick-off party on August 30th before the school bell rings! Host a School Year’s Eve party (big or small), take pictures and there will be an opportunity to win $1500 to go towards your school or local PTA unit, simply by uploading some of your photos from the festivities.
