As a woman, you CAN NOT afford to be forgettable.

If you are living small, in the shadows or haven’t yet embraced your potential, it is time to step into the SPOTLIGHT!

Be You!

And, when I say that, I mean be you with INTENTION!

Don’t copy the style of other women. Don’t buy your outfits straight off the mannequin. Don’t expect to look like Jennifer Lopez in jeans and a tee if you are 5′ 11″ and have a rectangle body type.

Further more, if you want to be unique and stand out for who you are, don’t just throw on anything that is clean.

Put thought into your outfit, the way you put thought into raise your family, making healthy meals, and possibly even building a business.

Here are 4 things to consider every time you get dressed for the day:

  1. Does it fit my style personality?
  2. Does it fit my body type?
  3. Is it appropriate for the things I have to get done today?
  4. How does this outfit make me feel? Is that how I want to feel?

Ok, that was 5 questions but the last two work together! Each of these elements creates your own unique style that no one else will have!

You may be thinking, “Wow, that is a lot to think about before getting dressed every morning. I am just happy to make it out the door with matching shoes.”

I get it, mornings are busy. And, can be stressful, especially if you still have kids at home that you need to get to school on time. Just remember, your outer appearance tells the world who you are before words even come out of your mouth.

Instead of adding to the stress of the morning, plan your outfits the night before. Or, even better, plan them on Sunday night for the week ahead. We’ll get into that later but just know that being organized and thinking about your outfit ahead of time will help you look and feel better. Isn’t that worth it?

No matter what stage of life you are at, whether you are still changing diapers or sending money to your college student or babysitting your grand babies, you need to make yourself a priority every day.  Doing something as simple as getting dressed in an outfit that makes you feel amazing is a fantastic way to start the day.

You are amazing.  Make sure people see it through your personal style and the outfits you choose to wear every day.

Love, Tammy
