My neighbor and I love to go get pedicures together. With the kids back in school, we get to go on weekday mornings when it is easy to get in. It’s great! Today we went in honor of her birthday. It has become our tradition that we treat each other to a pedicure on our birthdays.
We were the only two in the salon, we sat side by side and enjoyed a full 30 minutes of uninterrupted conversation! This is truly the best part of the experience. When you are a mom, it is SO easy to start a conversation and get interrupted by your kiddos. The conversation never gets finished and a week later you ask your friend, “whatever happened with…” because you never got to hear the rest of the story. Treat yourself to a pedicure with a girlfriend. Not only do you leave with pretty toes, you leave with a happy heart and peaceful mind, ready to return to the 2000 interruptions that occur in your life daily!
Here is the color that I chose for my toes: OPI- Lincoln Park After Dark. It is a deep, dark purple, “where midnight meets purple”. Dark nails are in for fall…the darker the better. Look for deep reds and purples popping up on nails everywhere.
