- Sulfate Free Shampoo. L’Oreal makes a great Sulfate Free shampoo called EverPure. This formula promises to leave hair hydrated and amazingly soft, while protecting your color. If you have a Keratin Hair Treatment, then you need Sodium Chloride Free as well. I use the Brazilian Blowout Shampoo and Conditioner but check with your stylist for recommendations for your keratin treated hair.
- Deep Conditioner/Treatment Oil. Show your hair some love with weekly deep conditioning. No matter what kind you use, V05 hot oil treatment or a high-end brand, be consistent with the weekly treatments and your hair will behave and feel much better! I personally like Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Replenishing Mask.
- Mild Styling Products. The last thing that you want to do is add product that will leave your hair crispy, crunchy and untouchable! Buy yourself some product that leaves your hair touchable, fresh and soft. Herbal Essences has an entire line of styling products called Tousle Me Softly that will do just that!
- Styling Tool Cleaner. Use it on ceramic, tourmaline, titanium and gold to remove caked on or burnt-on residue from styling products. Keeping your flat irons and curling irons free of build-up means you will get a better performance out of your iron.
