    Spice Up Your Look!

    By Tammy | November 11, 2007

Day 10, Tip 10 for my Glamour Makeover: Get a new hairstyle (no stylist required).

Do you wear your hair the same everyday? It’s time to change things up a bit! Play with your hair and learn some new ways of styling it. Buy some new accessories to adorn your hair. Learn to use a round brush for blow drying. Experiment with products (don’t go crazy buying them… ask at your salon for samples).

As you know, I have been struggling with a new cut I got. I have since had it re-cut at a very hip salon. I asked for a more blended cut without losing any length. It was fabulous when I left the salon but I struggle with getting it to lay correctly myself. I know I need to buy some product and do my own experimenting with accessories. My challenge is to find as many different ways to wear my hair as I can. This will keep my look fresh and when my hair is not cooperating in the morning, I’ll have a back-up plan.

If you have short hair, you can still have a variety of looks. In fact, I think women with short, trendy cuts look fabulous in hair bands and fun clips! Give it a shot!

Here are a few great accessories to inspire you:

    DaintyDeity.com

Invisible headbands by DaintyDeity.com. These headbands feature invisible cord and Swavorski crystals and Czech glass beads. See how fabulous they look in short hair? I love the detail and pop of color in these designs. Check them out…

    Bobby Pins

Bobby Pins come in a ton of fun colors and styles. You can find fun casual ones or glamorous ones for evenings and special occasions.

    Double Headband

A double headband is a fashionable option

    Chunky Yarn Cap

A stylish winter cap looks great on cold days!

As for styling, play with your hair…scrunch it with curl enhancer, blow it straight (this video will show you how) with a round brush, clip back your bangs or add some sexy waves!

Keep some extra hair accessories in your car or purse just in case you need to take care of some uncooperative strands. Hair is your greatest accessory. I encourage you to have fun, get inspired and do something different!
