What is your favorite beauty tip?

What did your mother teach you about beauty and fashion?
- Take care of your skin and stay out of the sun!
- Wear what you like, and what you’re comfortable in-fashion comes and goes, but style is what sets you apart.
What beauty/fashion tips will you be sure to share with your daughter, niece or neighbor girl as she grows?
Exactly what my mom told me!
What is your favorite outfit in your closet and why?
A short, black, long sleeve, turtleneck ribbed dress with a cotton and wool blend skirt. The skirt has two wide pockets with a large plastic button on each. I wear it with my knee-high, black, patent leather, Prada boots, and it makes me feel like I walked right out of the 60’s. The perfect blend of tailored and edgy.
What’s your favorite online site to shop for beauty or fashion?
Sephora.com for beauty. For fashion, I prefer to shop in person.
What motivates you to look your best?
Are you kidding?! We live in the most vain, youth-worshiping society on earth!
As a mom, “Me Time” is limited… what are your time saving beauty tips?
Iredale mineral pressed powder followed up with the spritz. It covers everything, evens out skin tone, looks very natural-add a little lip gloss and mascara, and I’m out the door.
Name one product you can’t live without:
One?! Cosmedix is the skincare line I use-it basically burns off any potential wrinkles before they have a chance-ha!
Heels or flats? Describe your favorite pair.
Flats please. I love almost all ballet flats, and when I don’t have to be anywhere, I’m always in flip flops (I have about 30 pairs)…
Lip gloss or Lip Stick? Which brand/color?
Gloss please-Aveda’s Lip Shine in beet root. It’s a gorgeous color in the red family, and it’s really sheer. You can wear it over lipstick at night, or for daytime, it’s just the right amount of color and shine all by itself. AND Aveda’s products are natural, and eco-friendly, which I like…

Mollyanna your daughter is precious! I will have to keep the eye-lift advice in mind as I was blessed with my fathers baggy saggy/dark circle eyes
